I'm bored so one like = one fact about this project https://twitter.com/DragonChaseJav/status/1245928986384822273
Imma lose her was the first song I performed live from this project even though at the time it didn't drop yet

(I know I can't sing)
@gloryboyquand sent me the beat for "tick tick" back in June of 2019 and it inspired me to make the project

I was working on this project for a WHILE
The cover art for my single "Delusional" is a picture of me
While on the topic of delusional
Tick Tick was the first song I finished in its entirety from lyrics to mixing
@7thKemuri sent me the beats for "On My Block", " I Laugh Alone", and "High I'm in Love" back in September of 2019
I recorded every song in my bedroom
"Imma Lose Her" has no bass or 808s because I wanted to create a feeling of relief since every other track had an intense feeling behind it either in the melody or drums the last track was supposed to feel refreshing sonically
High I'm in love was originally called "High and in Love" but I changed it in the final draft after I wrote the first line but I never changed it in the first draft
The reason why "I laugh alone" starts and ends with my voice pitched down is because when I went to rerecord the take I couldn't hit the right pitch to match the rest of the song so I got fed up and decided to pitch change it
If I remember correctly this is the first project where I don't make an anime reference on any of the songs
Stupid Lit was originally going to be an entirely different EP called "5 Hours Away From 7:30" but got scrapped because the files for tracks 2, 3 and 5 became corrupted
The name "Tick Tick" for a track was originally for a different song, (now called in my head), for my 2nd project Boom but the countdown theme didn't exist in Boom

Here's the song just in case you're curious #SoundCloud

I memorized the entire project word for word before it dropped because I would listen to it almost everyday
Stupid Lit is the 3rd project of mine to only have 2 features the other projects are BOOM! and This Ain't Me
This may be obvious but Delusional ends with me saying "I'll tell you the joke but you don't understand my ego is dead and now I'm just a man" then I proceed to laugh ans the next track is called "I Laugh Alone" which signals the beginning of an ego death
Ron has been supporting me from the jump but I still haven't given him a feature not because I hate him or anything I'm just lazy
There were supposed to be 4 more features on this project but they never came through so mist of the songs got scrapped tho I still have the files for the instrumentals I also cut a lot of songs out here are some of their names
On Drogas when I say "Hit up my wh*t* girl I need a quick blow" I'm talking about cocaine not an actual woman
The second half of Drogas is supposed to be a confession where the person (me I guess?) Is coming to terms with themselves and feelings
On Delusional when I mention Rose I'm talking about @gonsequence
The entire project is about a guy doing drugs with his two friends and he just kept on rambling but as it goes on the guy starts to get more personal
Drogas originally wasn't going to be o the project and the beat switch idea was for a different song that got scrapped

(The beat is unmixed and not very well put together you have been warned)
Tick Tick and Imma Lose Her were both mixed originally to have a more "spacey" sound to my vocals to symbolize the idea of coming full circle it kind of lingers but I changed it up a bit because I felt like it threw off the project sonically
On Drogas when the beat cuts out and the woman speaks in Spanish it's because the first half of the song is meant to be all in the person's head and nothing is making sense to him hence why I say

"My girl doesn't really exist we talk on occasions whenever I trip"
@maykasa_ is the woman on Drogas
On My Block has quite a few contradictory lines like

"So pay no mind
Do no time" even though the track before is called tick tick in reference to time and the guy already paid mind when I said
"I swear imma make you pay mind
We all got dues and I've paid mine" on tick tick-
Which is to set up the image that the guy is slowly becoming delusional which is the next track after On My Block
On I Laugh Alone the adlibs are supposed to represent that voice in your head that is like the angel/devil on your shoulder but that voice is struggling to get the attention of the guy

It's pitched up because I was trying to emulate Navi from legend of Zelda
On High I'm In Love I say "Make smiles for the crowd see I'm just a clown"

And on Drogas I say "Tears wiped away I'm no longer a clown"

Then you have I laugh Alone-
and the ending line of Delusional "I'll tell you the joke but you don't understand
My ego is dead and now I'm just a man
Damn!"

Is just a big metaphor that the person used to be entertaining but now that they're alone the only joke they have left is themself
Another under lying "theme" (I guess you can call it that) is how blind the guy is to the inevitable fact that his actions is causing him to lose everything he loves which is why the project ends the way it does
A woman is mentioned/alluded to on every song except for "On My Block" because the guy has nothing on his block
I can't pick a favorite song because I genuinely love every single one
Drogas was my "experimental" song and the one I worried about the most because I felt like people wouldn't like it which surprisingly isn't the case
