Bernie’s campaigns shifted the playing and changed the norm, bringing important issues to the limelight. With more voters than ever feeling disenfranchised I’m curious to see how Biden will win over voters. Voters who watched as their candidates dropped out of thin air (3/x)
to support a candidate who was less popular than themselves. I hope that Trump doesn’t win this election but if Biden stays center in politics and lackluster in his campaign Trump could easily win or even decide to shift slightly left to win over a few voters (4/x)
As odd as it may sound I’m honestly disappointed that the electoral college still exists regardless of which candidate it would support but that’s a whole different thread (5/x)
I think in the coming months to win voters Biden (who repeatedly told people who challenged him to “go vote for someone else”) needs to starting proving himself and earning votes. He needs to own up to his criticism rather than avoiding them (6/x)
