Still no reliable way to contact our clients in jail. Options are 1) send in list of 5 clients to office head every Thursday night- then we may or may not get a call at a completely random time. We miss the call- no call back. My phone always drops first call.
2) Spend $8.99 of our own money for a 30 minute video conference that may or may not work. Oh there are vouchers available but clients get one per week and have to chose to use on family or attorney.
It doesn’t bother me to spend my own money right now to talk to my clients (I only have one new client in-custody at the moment) but I’m at a loss at to how my office head and the PD system here is letting this happen?
