When the races began over a year ago, I will admit I was first team Biden. I thought more of the Obama era is what we needed in the era of Trump. Over the course of several months, I slowly started learning more about Bernie and his policies, and when faced toe-to-toe with Biden/

Trump. It became clearer and clearer every day that Bernie was the smart and bold choice we needed. Hilary lost cause of normalcy and the "I am not Trump, therefore I am" ideology, wheras Bernie had policies and a movement behind him. I became disheartened by the lack of care

Biden gave to his campaign. He continued where Hilary left off, and I felt that he was not what America needed at this time. Trump rallied his base the way Bernie rallied his base. Hilary and Biden were running the same campaign.

Although 5 years ago I harped on Bernie, today I am a proud Bernie supporter. His policies and ideas are what we need right now. We don't need to go back to "normal" because "normal" did not work for so many people already. We need change, and Bernie was and will continue to be

that change. #thankyoubernie. I am sorry he dropped out, and I am unsure of how I will be voting this November. Biden needs to earn my vote, he doesn't just get it as a consolation prize for Bernies dropping out.
