I say left media’s intense dislike of Joe Biden and desire for him to lose is a problem.

Left media responds that the real problem is that there are some policy issues where Biden disagrees with them.

Here’s the problem with that…
… a winning presidential campaign requires the votes of something like 60-70 million people and requires you to take stances on dozens of issues.

Any possible nominee needs the votes of huge numbers of people who disagree with him about many things.
If faced with a candidate who agrees with you about some stuff and disagrees about other stuff, you choose to emphasize the points of disagreement that’s a totally legitimate choice to make.

But it’s a choice. The mere *fact* that disagreement exists is inevitable.
Joe Biden wants to expand public health insurance programs and Donald Trump wants to shrink them.

What attitude a Medicare For All supporter should have to that choice is something reasonable people can perhaps disagree on, but emphasizing the negative is hardly a forced move.
