Harry choosing a fish in the Adore You mv is important to me. Swimming is a major characteristic of fish, yet his fish can't?? The fact that it's intentionally ironic makes it the most important and tells me being unable to swim must be important in identifying this fish. +
Not only that, but he also didn't keep it gender neutral. He specified it was a male. Okay. So a male (fish) who can't smim. Obviously by stripping away the fish's natural ability, that created a topic. The question: why can't he swim if he's a fish? +
Maybe because it's not that it's a fish at all. But that through irony, we'd be able to recognize what was supposed to stand out. It was a perfect way to open the dicussion and raise the next logical question: if it isn't about the fish being a fish, then who does it represent?
