This thing is REALLY hurting the R&B/gospel OGs. Most of them make the majority of their bread (if not all of it) from touring.
Many are older with compromised immune systems so it's even harder for them to workaround what is going on right now.
Add to that the problem of having REAL BANDS and not being technologically advanced enough to set up some sort of streaming/IG concert.

I feel for them.
Many of them haven't released new music in YEARS, if not DECADES... simply because they haven't had to. They make/made timeless music that lives on. So this has to be TOUGH for them.
I'm talking about the Frankie Beverly & Mazes, the Emotions, the Gap Bands, the Stephanie Mills, the Stylistics, the Angela Winbushs, the Miki Howards, the Meli'sa Morgans, the Blue Magics, etc.

They are kind of being forgotten in the new rush and craze of IG concerts & battles
I'm sure (well... I hope) many if not all of them have teams in place and that they are working to make sure these legacy acts are still able to make livings and share their art with the world as well.
(and I hope the term "legacy act" isn't an offensive title for any of them. They are all my favorites and I mean it with nothing but respect.)
