Wait. We did that for most of the 20th century.

Our current Wall Street Farm Bill framework is based on overproduction because (1) Monsanto wants to sell seeds and Koch Bros wants to sell more fertilizer and (2) Pepsi/Coke want to pay the least amount for making junk food, etc.

Simply put, none of this is really about helping farmers. We might as well cut the checks to Agribusiness Corps because that is what this is all about.

taxpayers dollars are again being transferred to the 1%. And heck, a lot of it is being transfered to foreign Corps.
