it's mind-boggling that the Democratic party took a look at the last four years and decided that for their 2020 candidate, they want to run.... a rapist who locked kids in cages https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1247907795963392001
super looking forward to the next seven months of #RESIST liberals yelling at me for saying "believing women means believing Tara Reade", or that Biden needs to be held accountable for his admin's decisions to slaughter brown civilians during peacetime for 8 years
when leftist activist Carlos Rojas (pictured) criticized Biden for deporting more immigrants than Trump, and asked him to pledge to stop, Biden dismissed him saying "You should vote for Trump."

So it's unsurprising that Biden's stans respond to any criticism of him the same way.
over the last two months, every time I've criticized Biden, my mentions instantly get clogged with:

1) #RESIST-er liberals telling me I'm basically supporting Trump by criticizing him

2) "progressives" who want to scream at Sanders supporters and think they've found one
without fail, it's happened every time, since January. and I can only imagine how much worse it's going to get
regarding (2), if you call yourself a progressive but also compare Sanders supporters to insects, even after you've been told why that's REALLY UNACCEPTABLE, you should take a long, hard look at your politics and understand where they really fit in a white supremacist patriarchy
yes, that is a real thing that I've seen on more than one occasion from very well-respected "progressives", and shockingly, I never saw any supporters of other candidates (Biden/Warren/etc.) calling it out - total, radio silence from them, like they didn't even see it.
if you are a progressive but have spent approximately zero time over the last year talking about anti-Semitism and how it was leveraged against Sanders and his supporters, you also should spend some time evaluating where your politics fall within a white supremacist patriarchy
right on schedule. you can't make this shit up.
I get why Sanders supporters were criticized for their behavior online, but I will never understand why relentless abuse like this was never discussed at all, even below the fold.
just to spell it out, for those who aren't seeing it: I'm not Jewish and I'm not a Sanders supporter (though he seems to think I am the latter)... but telling an ostensible Sanders supporter, especially a PoC, "we need to purge people like you" is... a huge MFing red flag
okay, before I mute this thread, a few things for everyone trashing my mentions (here and other threads):

First, I'm not a Sanders supporter. Criticizing Biden doesn't make you a Sanders supporter (or a Trump supporter), and no amount of yelling at me will change that fact.
(I've been critical not just of Sanders but also his supporters and their rhetoric since before the 2016 campaign even started up, and it's almost comical how this ridiculous black-and-white "logic" tries to erase ~all of that)
Normally, to anyone trying to pick an argument about "Bernie Bros" in my mentions, I'd say "go find a Sanders supporter and argue with them instead of me", because an argument is always better when there's someone on the other side...

...HOWEVER...
