Acknowledges that the right answer for many #charities will be to furlough, but some cannot and should not as they are on the frontline - would contravene their entire purpose. £360 million directly to charities providing 'essential services' incl. £200m for #hospices.
£370m to smaller charities. Government will also match fund public donations from the BBC's Big Night In on April 23.
