...we met our neighbors behind us. They have 7 raised beds (I know 3 are 12' LONG!) and they have a bee hive. We are so lucky! They gave us some of their honey, and we told them we can share our extra vegetables - although they will probably be the ones with extras to share! ...

...I wish now our backyard was bigger, as we're on just 0.17 acre. I think we can perhaps squeeze 1 or 2 maybe 3 more 4'x8' raised beds, but those will definitely not be full sun.

Also, while digging up the lawn, we found so many earthworms, & 3 of them were probably 12" long...

...We did all our best not to disturb the worms too much, and placed them in our new beds.

Anyway, besides grapes, we are trying to grow things we normally eat: Tomatoes, Zucchini, Cucumbers, Peppers (not germinated yet ) Spinach & Romaine Lettuce, along with some herbs...
