My biggest thought sitting here as Sanders drops out of his second presidential race is that he'll be an important historical figure going forward on the left, but that his greatest influence will ultimately prove to be his making "political revolution" a colloquialism 1/

Warren was obviously doing her Warren thing back in 2011/2012 when she was running for Senate and she had that viral living room video about taxing the rich. She'll also be a figure of importance on the left going forward. 3/
But I do think Sanders gets credit for the communication style of cult of political personality he built. That stuff is powerful. 4/4
