Today, Dems are guaranteed a nominee who has spent decades trying to cut Social Security and the safety net; who has been accused of rape; who is in visible cognitive decline; whose family profiteered off his name/position; who has been a consistent advocate of free trade deals.

They are getting another nominee who voted for the Iraq War and who has spent months fighting the left in opposition to policies that now boast support from a majority of Americans.
