I just want some form of leadership in this country that recognizes that our people, as human beings, all of us, deserve *so much better* than the inflicted suffering of so many, for the calculated benefit of so few.

there is so much cumulative, long-building injustice and cruelty and pain in this moment and I want leaders who say it, act on it. it didn't have to be this way, and I want leaders who feel that and then do something about it.
