I’m pretty sure that’s the Republican game plan at this point. All of their machinations are so public, so many people know they don’t care about our rights or our lives. It’s being reported on. So it’s all or nothing now. Grab power by any means and blatantly lie. Only option.

If we accept that this is the GOP’s endgame we can truly stop expecting them even possibly be looking out for the rights of Americans. They DGAF. If they lose now it could mean real change so they’ve decided they can’t lose. Cheat. Rig. Lie. Manipulate. Nothing is off the table.

If we accept that *this* is what Republicans are—power hungry, selfish, petty, spiteful, non-empathetic assholes who genuinely don’t see the rest of us as human then maybe we can plan & fight accordingly.

This “my god how could they” schtick is getting old. They can and have.

These m’fuckers forced an election in the middle of a pandemic. Where only 5 voting stations were open out of 180. Democracy? Dafuq is that? Americans are dying due to a botched response to a pandemic and black folks are getting hit hardest.

I’m pretty sure that Black folks dying at higher rates due to the virus is just fine w/ Republicans. Maybe we won’t try to vote so much? Can’t vote if you’re too busy trying to survive and not die in a pandemic your country refuses to properly deal with right?

The GOP dont want a democracy. I know this because EVERYTIME the will of the majority doesn’t match what they want they simply shutdown anyway to do anything. It’s not about the people. It’s about power & money. THEY LITERALLY HAVE BEEN ARGUING THAT DYING FOR THE ECONOMY IS COOL.

I’m just getting sick of watching as we continue to hope for the best, while trying to shame a party, that fundamentally hates the rest of us, into treating us like we matter. They won’t do it. They’re letting us die & when challenged the POTUS just says “nah uh” AND IT WORKS.

What party worth a gatdamb would sit back while the POTUS holds these pressers on a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, lies, passes blame, literally IGNORES IG reports that say our front lines DESPERATELY need help and smears the people trying to save lives? They let him do this. They own this.

The sooner we realize this isn’t just a disagreement within a democracy, that this is the country being taken over by any means necessary by a minority that will lie, cheat, steal all while letting Americans die.

Oh, and also try to make a profit off the bodies dropping.
