Dogs as Medical Specialties Part 2:

Critical Care -> Rottweilers

Most likely the breed of Cerebus, who guards the gates of hell. Very protective, can be trusted to work independently. Tug of war champs. Loves to work, requires frequent socialization with other breeds.
Neuro -> Schipperke

Best known for their inquisitive and curious nature, they thrive when engaged intellectually. Independent and intelligent. Sassy when mishandled. Once they decide on a best pathway, will persist stubbornly for optimal results.
Hem/Onc -> Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers

While they don’t come cheap, this breed is phenomenally intelligent and hardworking. Not a casual pet, dedication is rewarded with an excellent hunter who will round up wayward cells/ducks. Benevolent heart.

“Gentle, patient, noble and mild-mannered. Beneath this demeanor, however, run deep streaks of determination and independence. On the trail, will be single-minded and determined to follow it as far as they possibly can.”
CT Surg -> Boxer

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

Nurses -> Pittbulls

Born nurturers, they would do anything for the people they’re devoted to. Patient with family members. Courageous, fearless, and tenacious even in the face of danger. Cross them at your own peril.
EMT/Paramedic -> Pointer

Often unfairly snubbed by elites, these dogs are some of the most loyal and hardworking breeds around. Always down for a rollicking good time, at work they can’t be beat at the find & fetch. Energetic & fun-loving, versatile in the field.
Pharmacists -> Chow Chow

If this dog is protecting something and doesn’t want you messing with it? It’s not happening. Usually more introverted than most dogs, they are intelligent and devoted. Adaptable to many situations, will work tirelessly.
Dentists -> Doberman Pinscher

Excellent watchdogs who are often the first to sound the alarm. People are often scared of them, but these dogs generally love people and just want to protect the whole family. Highly value companionship of other people.
