please don't compare everything you do with the stuff you see in that highly concentrated "best of" portfolio of the world all the time (yes, the world). it can be motivation but also too much sometimes. remember: most of them don't show fails - only success. (1/2)

try to keep in mind: every (!) artist you look up to fights the same problem now and then. every (!) artist you look up to looks up to another artist exactly the way you do. and what you might not know, that means there are people who look up to you and your art, too. (2/3)

never stop creating, don't stop beeing you. don't try to be perfect all the time, try to be consistent and time will grant you some of that perfection, even tho you might not see it. development is an ongoing process. look back at old works and you see the progress. love!(3/3)
