Every sports team should change at least one jersey, every year. Jersey freakouts would stop entirely and instead it’d be “Oh, so that’s one that they’re wearing this year.”
Keep/maintain your traditionals… and you have freedom to do as much as you want with the 3rds/4ths.
Think of the Bills reds that they wear in color rush. We maybe don’t want them full-time… but it’s a cool alternative.
