1/ So with Tom and mine's limited refrigerator stock thanks to moving in the middle of a public health crisis (wouldn't recommend it, for future reference) I'm trying to think creatively about what we have in our pantry and so far I've come up with the following: ...
2/
1. A vegetarian southwestern macaroni casserole bake (because we have a laughably small amount of meats)

2. Black bean soup

3. Possibly a baked gnocchi dish of some sort...oooooo, b/c I don't have diced tomatoes but I do have a fuckload of jarred pasta sauce. No spinach tho
3/ I do not do creative cooking you guys. I have my set dishes that I make on repeat and I call it a day. Unfortunately, for most of my staple dishes I make, I am missing one or two key ingredients that I'm trying to order from the store.
4/ End story is this:

We have food. I am so grateful for this. We will be fine. So I don't want this thread to come off as ungrateful or complaining. I just miss that in the stress of this crisis, I can't turn to my comfort dishes b/c I don't have everything to make them.
