Something I’ve learned in this process of self isolation is allowing yourself to feel whatever emotion you need to feel that day. It’s been a roller coaster for me personally.
I’m a social butterfly who loves interacting with friends and family and when that gets shut down I have struggled to keep my energy and mood up. That said I’m not sure that is a poor thing. I think we often associate sadness and frustration as “bad”.
If it’s happiness be happy. Pour enough happiness so others can receive the flow over as well - they need it too. If you’re sad, be sad. Don’t hold it back. Feel whatever it is you need to feel and be confident in those emotions.
So if you’re struggling with moods and emotions in this time of isolation know A- you’re not alone. B- feel them & express them to your friends & family. When you feel what your body and mind is trying to feel instead of fighting the other direction is makes that process easier.

While you’re at it today - do something for yourself.
If that’s time alone, read, listen to a favorite song, make coffee, etc do it!
