Overlap. In 2017:

- 647,457 people died of heart disease. That's about 54,000 people per month.

- 160,201 people died from lower respiratory disease (e.g. COPD). That's about 13,350 people per month.

- 55,672 people died from flu/pneumonia. That's 4,639 people per month.
- 599,108 people died from cancer. That's 49,925 people per month

- 146,383 people died from stroke. That's 12,198 people per month

- 121,404 people died from Alzheimer's. That's 10,117 people per month.

- 83,564 people died from diabetes. That's 6,963 people per month.
In total, 151,192 people died every single month from these underlying conditions. 12,857 people have died from the Wuhan virus as of today.

In order to get that number, only 8% of those 151,192 would have had to get the virus and be classified as a COVID death.
