I've been getting DMs about silver trading so I thought I'd make a more detailed guide for you guys

Step 1. Know your prices

If you do lots of league SBCs, you will know the expensive annoying teams and how much you usually pay for the players there...
If you don't do league SBCs, then take a minute to look at http://futbin.com  and see which league sbc teams cost a lot more than others.

Then go back to fifa and look at the prices of the expensive silvers. Check it a few times a day for a few days in a row
So you can tell what the general price level is. Depending on time of day, some cards fluctuate between say, 4k and 6k. If you list yours at 5k, then it will most likely sell within a few hours.
Step 2. Picking up deals

Now you can look for silver flips any time but best time to look for deals is when we get an SBC with pack rewards, like marquee matchups or some daily sbcs.

Player sbcs with packs are also good, but not everyone does them while everyone does MM
The type of reward pack is important. Silver players come out of silver packs, mixed player packs and electrum packs. If the sbc has any of those, get ready to look for deals.
SBCs drop at 6pm UK. Between 6 and 7 prices will start coming down but there will be lots of competition
But also some nice deals. DON'T PULL THE TRIGGER TOO SOON. If a 9k card drops to 8k you're not only not making much profit when it goes back up but also you will have to wait longer.

Over time you will learn how low they usually go
And find out what price you want to pay for them. Personally I buy a certain 9-9.5k card when it drops below 6.5k as that guarantees me over 2k profit per card.

Step 3: selling your cards

So you've picked up loads of good silver deals, now what?
You can't get rid of them yet as the prices haven't rebounded yet. However this is where your market knowledge comes in. You know that a certain card is worth, say 7k. You picked it up at 5k. You can comfortably list it up at like 6.8k and it will be sell within a couple days...
Assuming there is no more silver supply in those couple days.

If you picked up some weird silvers which don't have replacements (think certain minor league silvers which are required to do their sbc) then they will rebound faster but they will also not drop as much initially
On the other hand, if you're willing to wait a little longer but get bigger profits then pick up some big league silvers from teams like Brescia Mallorca etc. People always do the big league SBCs as they have good packs and these cards are guaranteed to rebound
Honestly you could just take whatever card you picked up, list it a couple hundred under the price you know it's worth and just wait for the sales to roll in.
One final thing is remember to leave enough room for profit. Picking up a 9k silver at 8k isn't great. Picking them up at 6.5k is much better.

Picking up a 3k silver at 2k when they could have dropped to 1.2k isnt great.

But you will learn low and high prices over time
Also if you have a very low budget (<100k), if recommend you avoid silvers that usually cost over 3 or 4k as you don't want all your money tied up like that. Learn which silvers are worth like 600 to 1000 and see if you can pick them up at 400 or less.
If you don't have time to research it, simply set these filters about 20 to 30 min before 6pm content drops: silver, basic chem, max buy 400 and check all the minor leagues and take a general look at teams there.
Then go ahead and do it again if we got silver supply and buy every cb, cdm, CM, CAM and st that wasn't there before. These positions work bc they work in every team so you don't have to remember if a certain team needs an LB, RB or wingers.
