there won’t be a specific order of this thread, but i’ll try to make it make sense

for one thing, he’s a huge mcu wanda stan. not only does he stan a white washed character, he acknowledges the problematic aspects of it.

essentially, he thinks stanning white washing is okay because he knows white washing is bad

he said this, which is in poor taste

he’s also said this about his race, which comes across weirdly to me

i am in no way trying to invalidate him as a poc, it just comes across as a white persian desperately trying to not be white to me. that’s my interpretation though, i am not trying to minimise any experience he has had as a poc

he attacked one of my mutuals because she posted a tweet about an mcu wanda stan that faked her ethnicity to justify liking a white washed character

at first he got very defensive and attacked her for it. my mutual had blocked out keywords because she didn’t want to be attacked by mcu wanda stans, and he attacked her for censoring words

update: i found the ss, it’s actually a tweet but we also talked about it in a chat. this might not look to bad on a surface level but he was really nasty to her more privately if i remember correctly

he has soft blocked people outside of a group chat we were both in several times and had claimed it was a mistake every time. i’m not saying it wasn’t a mistake, i’m just saying it’s weird that it happened three times

also, he stated he thinks it’s annoying when people attack mcu wanda for being white washed. i can’t remember his exact phrasing but he said something along the lines of “find something new to be mad about”

to specify, he didn’t say this as an attack. he was talking about how him and his friends and the character he stans get attacked for the whitewashing and said that he wished people would find another thing because the same argument was getting old

i’ve been told the wanda stan was actually roma. this came from one of her friends. while i want to belive this, i have no evidence going either way other than word of mouth atm so take that with a grain of salt (the rest still applies though)
