do y’all pronounce it “ass” or “My Hero Academia”?

this show is boring as fuck. it’s a generic coming-of-age shounen story we’ve seen 100 times before. not only that but the pacing is awful even compared to Naruto, the story goes nowhere and yet somehow remains predictable as fuck.

character designs are mostly cringe or just look retarded. i will admit there’s a few cool designs like Gang Orca tho. the show has no good girls either.

the plot is terrible with no overarching story and generic ass arcs, the characters are nothing special and aren't even entertaining to watch!!!

why show a character without superpower then suddenly give him superpower, the main character should not have received any power!!

why the hell all anime characters have to depend on other people powers, i really expected the main character to develop his own fighting style without any power...he could have used some types of weapons and his brain to overcome his challenges.

deku finding out he had 7 other quirks was stupid. the entire point is that he inherited All Might's quirk, a pure strength quirk that stockpiles with each iteration. he’s the Superman of the universe. he punched hard, and he needed to find creative uses of the power.

bakugou’s entire personality is being angry and hating the main character. that’s his only purpose. he’s just a living hurdle that screams and glares in your general direction

uraraka is fucking unbearable. she reminds me a lot of Hinata from Naruto, but Hinata was actually a good character. every time this bitch opens her mouth she makes my blood boil. next to Midoriya, she’s the second most guilty of sucking All Might’s dick

to conclude, it’s just overrated. i understand the hype behind it but i’m just NOT A FAN.

deku going from 8% to 20% to 100% full cowl in the exact same arc was stupid, because it completely ruined the point of him having to train and work harder to become as strong as All Might.

- he needed to find other ways to be a hero than hitting harder, he needed to hit smarter. now it's "lmaoooo just scream until you unlock 32.8% full cowl that splinters your bones but you'll beat them and it'll be super cool!!!" :)

this isn't a series where characters need to think how to use their power ideally to win a hard battle anymore. this is a series where the main characters ass pull new powers to show off how strong they are, while the side characters sit off to the side begging for screen time.

it was nothing special and it will never be. its entertaining to some extent but its not interesting at the least. nothing new to offer. lack originality. quirks are inconsistent and stupid.

a show about heroes can only be as good as its villains, and with one possible exception the villains in MHA are weak as hell. apparently in a world full of superpowers and aspiring heroes, to be a villain requires that you be a catastrophic idiot.
