So we’re still closing on the house on Friday (in TWO DAYS!), but there’s a few things that need to be repaired before we feel safe bringing Luna in and to maintain social distancing and keep things safe for the workers, we’re going to most likely push moving to next weekend
We’ll move our boxes and furniture in this weekend to make room to pack the last of our stuff but we’ll just leave out whatever essential stuff we need to make it through the next week until we’re ready to actually move it. It’ll probably work out better that way anyways

On the plus side: the attic of the house is filled with all kinds of cool vintage furniture, originally the seller said he was keeping it all but he changed his mind and told us to keep it which is kinda rad? We’ll probably sell 90% of it but still that’s extra money
There’s this really cool dry sink, I’m tempted to keep it and turn it into something but those things are worth bookoo bucks so we’ll probably sell it
Some more of the cool furniture left: this cool ass secretary (it has the original keys to go to the drawers too) + this marble bedroom set (the mirror is silver!) also the wash basin in the back is from England, we couldn’t find a year on it though
Gonna be adding more of the stuff we found to this thread; these cool clogs signed “to Dougie, from great grandma Mary- Dec. ‘56”. Douglas was the son of the owner of the house (Eugene) who passed last fall
Some vintage Disney things! The lunchbox still has the original thermos in it, if the handle wasn’t broken I bet that thing would be worth BIG bucks
Some very old photos. Most are out of frames, but have no writing on the back so I’m not sure who these people are. Several of them are of the same people though so I’m going to assume they’re family members of Gene/Doug?
There’s nothing majorly unsafe wrong, it’s just stuff like the pressure thing on the furnace needs to be replaced and the flue (idk what it’s actually called) things in the chimney need to be fixed so everything is venting properly
