Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"— Naturally the human heart is wicked and deceitful

This is also why David cried out to God in Psalm 51:10 and said “ Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” — David knew his heart was naturally deceitful so he prayed for God to mould his heart into a heart that was after God
That’s why God then referred David to as “life A man after my own heart” — We should never get to a point of self-righteousness.. Rather we should constantly pray for God to renew our hearts. Don’t put confidence in your own heart. Because that is how pride can often creeps in
It’s time we stop being self-righteous in your own eyes, because that is when we open the door for pride & other bad behaviours... Lastly, always pray for God to renew your heart daily !! Tell God to renew your spirit daily !! Let’s put away with our deceitful hearts
