Can I have a small rant about #Coronavirus please?

First off, re Boris Johnson. When did we jump from "no I won't be clapping for him" and "not sure shaking hands was wise" and "our response was slow" to "I wish him dead"? That's just daft projection.

I hope he gets better and I hope he emerges with an enhanced appreciation of our NHS

Thirdly, can we please start counting deaths in care homes, at home and in prisons?

As an aside, do we also see now how shockingly we treat our older folk? How badly we underfund their care. Further aside, Peston needs to apologise for calling folk inmates

Keep clapping for the NHS but when this is over stop voting for a political Party that has devalued and underfunded it

Secondly, stop going to parks to take outraged photos of people in parks. Some folks don't have gardens.

Next, there is a creeping sense that "we are all in this together" means "shut up and stop asking questions". No, if we really are all in this together, we get to ask about - herd strategy, lack of testing and leadership. Citizenship means critical friendship.

We are now talking about and doing things we were told were impossible

- addressing rough sleeping
- testing UBI as a solution
- caring for our environment
- finding money for our public services

Remember that

We need a global response to this pandemic and shame on all those folks who are using it to spread racist views and conspiracy theories

We needed a strategy for women and children who are at increased risk due to the lockdown. Please look out for neighbours you are worried about
