Returning on another chariot, Satyaki took it upon himself to stop Shalya. He pierced Shalya with sharp arrows and was wounded back in return. The Pandava brothers supported him. The arrows released in the process covered the sky. Shalya could not be stopped

Duryodhana cuts Bhima's standard and bow. Bhima then hurls a javelin that pierces him in the chest and makes him faint. Bhima then kills Duryodhana's chariot.
Kripa and Kritavarma try to rescue Duryodhana as the horses carry him away
