Just back from outside. It is laughable to suggest that Mumbai is under lockdown. Other than offices everything is normal. So much crowd it is scary in markets. Madness.

Vegetable shops are all normal in this part of munbai. Groceries are depleting and it is not at all a good sign. Medicines are also running short supply. Couldn't get baby milk powder anywhere :-(

I asked someone that till last week everyone followed it properly why are they all out now. Apparently there are rumours of lockdown extending till June and there is no way people can stay at home for that long so everyone giving up. Worst, giving up at exactly wrong time

of course, Mumbai police is trying their best making accouncements and patrolling. but there is only so much police can do if people voluntarily dont stay at home.
