Some interesting findings in @YouGov poll of Labour members commissioned by Rebecca Long-Bailey's leadership campaign https://docs.cdn.yougov.com/m3og65nsmm/RLB_LabMembers_Feb20.pdf
On every other attribute tested, Starmer wins:
Effective opposition
Strong leader
Unite party
Can win
Good media performer
Takes on powerful
Understands economy
Shares my values
Can make tough decisions
Trustworthy
..apart from "will appeal to red wall voters", which Nandy wins
And Starmer scores 70% on "understands policy detail", to 48% RLB and 37% Nandy
Note 35% think renationalisation not a top priority, are indifferent, or oppose it
48% want to repudiate European Convention on Human Rights
And they're not very interested in this kind of identity politics
Nor are they that bothered about preserving the 2019 manifesto policies
