#ROTTMNTWeek Day 7: #WhyWeLoveROTTMNT

This show may not be perfect, but still stands as one of my favorite animated shows for many reasons! What caught my attention first was the amazing animation and art style! The show has such a unique and fluid animation, giving us these-
Great scenes, from the little details and movement to the very dynamic action/ fight scenes! Another thing that kept me hooked was on how compared to the other shows, Rise went on a unique track-from having Raph being the leader, Splinter's background story to having the boys-
Being able to act freely as teenagers, which leads me to another point: the characters and interactions. Not only do the boys act more casually at their given age, but they also aren't afraid to brotherly love to one another, having a good balance for this and sibling banters
Another thing i adore is the interactions on the turtles with Splinter, showing more on how he is more of a father than just a sensei, and with April, who in this iteration shows a wild, loyal and strong character who in a way acts as their sister.
Rise also gives off a good balance for humour and seriousness. The show gives jokes that are funny and lighthearted but at the same time, knows when to give an appropriate atmosphere for key events for character development, which are wonderfully written and at times, emotional too
Character development is another thing i adore in the show. Not only is it well written, but the audience is given a chance to explore these characters more, not only showing their positive traits but the negative ones too, showing on how they deal and learn from this
This thread could probably be a lot longer but i think ill stop from here.
In summary, Rise of the Tmnt is such a great show, and i highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't yet!
