1) THREAD: Good early morning. For well over a 1000 days now I have tweeted the call for Trump's resignation and later his removal from office. I have managed to do so while traveling on 3-continents, often from wildernesses, & even 5-nights with the help of friends while at sea.

2) It began as a challenge to myself to join the #Resistance after I decided not to withdraw and just check out as I watched the lynching of HRC's character, the mockery of her public service which spanned my lifetime and the ascendancy of a mad fascist to the Presidency...

3) And then there was the matter of my new grandchildren...I could not just withdraw so I began to make the call, dust off old activist clothes and engage in other efforts and then the call became a beacon to others not to lose hope...it has indeed been a roller coaster...

4) But then again I am bolstered each night by Camus' wisdom...it is indeed the struggle that gives meaning to life. Yet now, with people dying every day a new sense of urgency has come over me. Tonight, this night, I beg you to build this call into a roar...

5) So near midnight, sitting outside under a brilliant moon not far from the Rio Grande here in New Mexico I will RT the call. Join me to make it loud enough so that the monster & his enablers, his collaborators, can hear it. He lives by the tweet, let us destroy him with tweets.
