Todoroki carrying ochako bridal style, cradling her to his chest so gently when just a minute ago he was ruthless in taking down that villain. Him talking to her in little whispers. “S’okay, chako. You’re okay. When you wake up I’m gonna tell you. I’ll tell you everything.”

He stays by her bedside for two whole days, barely leaving to eat or use the restroom. When she finally wakes up, its to see todoroki asleep leaning on his arms, his left hand in hers. It was what drew her to wake up, his warmth.
“T...todoroki..?” She whispers.

She gives his hand a weak squeeze and immediately he’s awake, cradling her face, and Ochako has never seen Shouto Todoroki cry before, but now tears are streaming down his face, his smile wobbly but strong.
“You came back to me,” he breathed, resting their foreheads together

“Todoroki...,” she mumbles, lifting a bandaged hand to cradle his cheek.

have never been this intense in his whole life. He backs away a little to see her expression, only to feel her other hand come up to his other cheek and pull him in for a kiss. It’s so soft and gentle, but with a firm power behind it, just like her. His heart can barely take it

“I love you too,” she whispers against his lips. “Since second year.”
“All that time?” He asks, unable to hide his surprise.
“Did you really think I needed that much help with English?” She smirks. Even just waking up from an injury, she’s still a smartass and he loves it

“Screw you,” he says, wide grin on his face.
“That’s the plan. But later, when I’m feeling better.”
Shouto’s left bursts into little flames as he blushes scarlet. “Ochako!”
“Kidding!”
“Since when have you been so flirty?”
“Since second year, thanks for noticing.”
