Let me now demolish @ShekharGupta 's cunning attempt to show the other side of TJ via Shriram Singh's coach......those who have known and studied TJ have described how TJ is not a centraised movement- it is a loosely controlled mass movement instead & one is free to leave it
So there is no concept of lifetime membership of TJ.Surely @ShekharGupta would know this better as one of his payment masters (those who know him would understand why I brought that reference) -Stratfor- has not only studied TJ very well but has commissioned various writings also

But one name that stands apart as chief patron of TJ was their DG-ISI Lt General Javed Nasir- who between 1995-97 - rendered all kind of support to terrorists in Bosnia & Kashmir. Jihad bi-al Saif-an offshoot of TJ even tried to overthrow Benazir Govt in 95 with support of HuJI
HuJI- founded by active TJ proselytizers Saifullah Akhter and Fazal ur Rehman Khalil recruited jihadis for Afg Jihad from various TJ markazs and Pak Army & ISI facilitated it.....their proselytization activities within PMA & barracks helped them team up seamlessly well
HuJi later become a breeding ground for terror orgs like Harkat ul Majahideen ,JeM, Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan & Lashkar-e-Jhangvi- all of them drew heavily fm TJ. Even JuI and JI had extensive & deep links with TJ. For those who think TJ is apolitical, go smell a coffee & read nxt
During 02 Pak elex,TJ actively supported alliance of Islamist parties under the umbrella of Muthaida Majlis-e-Amal or MMA- which even formed e of Islamist parties. The Islamist alliance formed government in their KPK & supported Islamist agenda- TJS support to MMA is documentd
Various CI experts have written about the stellar role of TJ in bringing Muslim youth to mosques where radical islamist and armed groups appropriate them and then leverage on their orthodox views of Islam & how everyone is a soldier for Islamic conquest of the world!
