In 2008 I was promoting the Nokia N96 in Vodacom. I loved it and I thought it was the best phone. Objectively it was. However Symbian was a platform of the past. iOS & Android were about to take over.

You can listen to an analyst & disagree, it doesn’t mean that they are lying.
You see back then I knew all about the popularity of the iPhone. I used to watch people come in and buy the phone over the Nokia. I used to debate with them about why a phone without Bluetooth, with a sealed battery was a disaster.

I had read all the articles but I was stubborn.
When you love a political party, you can be over attached and resist the facts. It happens all across Africa and the world

I remember in 2017 when Mnangagwa came into power. I said he was a disaster for Zim & people told me to shut up

They were attached more to hope than truth
Time is the true test of analysis.

For example when a certain university had students exposed to Covid19 and sent them home before test results came back. I made a video before they did that warning of the risk.

We said isolate them on campus. Do not evict exposed students.
The VC called us social media complainers. Then one student took it to Namibia.

Time proved what many of us had pointed out. They started being arrogant and dismissive on social media after the incident but the truth was not changed by that.
Moral of this thread.

You listen to other voices - not to find someone you agree with. But to sharpen your thinking and consider alternatives.

Wise people don’t look for cheerleaders. Athletes do that. To make decisions you need to think from all angles.
