I was really thinking that it sucked my boyfriend didn’t make a social media post on our anniversary, and then I thought about all of the other ways he expressed his love towards me today

he kissed me in bed before he went off to work, he wrote me a cute letter to wake up to, he texted me all day and kept a positive attitude despite his crappy day at work, a hug here and there, some cuddles on the couch and treated me to icecream for dessert

this man really went and did all of these things, and I was too bothered by social media. it’s important to take a step back, and appreciate what is right infront of you.
