ok quick thoughts on "things happen, it& #39;s ok!" by @theFTHproject

it is... interesting to say the least!! a VERY fun project built from the ground up with nothing but love, as is apparent from beginning to end, and that more than makes up for it& #39;s relatively short run-time
speaking of runtime, i was expecting something.... more-ish? most of the songs dont even reach 3 minutes and end just as quickly as they start, but the songs themselves have such brilliant production, songwriting, and structure that makes them feel rich as FUCK
take the song "BURNING TIRES" for example. a super bouncy track with such catchy lyrics that i find myself singing them constantly, even though the track itself is only a minute long. that seems to be a recurring theme across the entire album tbh!
speaking of recurring themes, you also hear a lot of the same melodies and motifs across the entire album, which helps make this project feel really coherent and cohesive, which is an unfortunate short-coming of my current album of 2020, "no future" by EDEN.
"things happen, it& #39;s ok!" feels like... an album!
there was a clear goal in mind with this project, and it was executed VERY well. it doesnt feel like just a collection of tracks like "no future" which i mentioned earlier, along with many other albums released this year and last
the features basically make these tracks what they are, with the artists featured not only providing their own vocals, but also their own production style. this REALLY helps every song feel vv unique, but still very much tied into the album& #39;s "concept", if you can call it that
i think i summed up this project perfectly in my first tweet in this thread, but here& #39;s a summary:
"things happen, it& #39;s ok!" is a hyper fun album, made with love and passion. the future looks very bright for @theFTHproject, and i cant wait to see what they do next :)
