i think it's kind of funny watching older disney channel shows like sonny with a chance bc you can tell that the writers could have (and probably wanted to) create more complex character relationships but couldn't bc it's well.....the disney channel

like sonny and chad have SO MUCH potential to have a really interesting rivals to lovers relationship but every time they're about to reach that potential the writers have to cheapen it with something superficial

this is a ridiculous thread tbh but i really like getting to experience the shows i watched as a kid/teen and seeing them now as a 25 year old

anyway sonny with a chance is still such a good kids show but after this i NEED to rewatch jonas la

also i'm on the episode with selena gomez and it's funny that i'm not a big fan of her as an actor but for some reason she was the best disney channel actor lmao
