Peter Thiel is the founder of Palantir, which now helps ICE track down families. We had the firm on the ropes and a Congressional investigation on the way, and then NYT ran an article that bought their bs alibi. In 2014 they did it again. Guy who wrote it now works for Google.

NYT later did the same thing vis a vis Stratfor, with whom one of its bureau chiefs, @damiencave, has a long relationship which extended to a phone convo right before he wrote an article calling me a fraud over OpCartel, which the firm’s emails show it knew to be real, and how.

A few months after that, Aaron Swartz and myself were mocked and ignored regarding the facial recognition stand-in Trapwire because NYT ran a piece on how it was no big deal, citing an unnamed Homeland Security official and a guy from ACLU who’d never seen it.

Go ahead, look.

Then in January the Times managed to get a natsec scoop without its editors killing it, and Clearview AI’s facial recognition program was naturally taken quite seriously because this time certain people with certain links, like @AdrianChen, weren’t mobilized to smother it.

The actual journalism I linked to above, by @lukeobrien, breaks the story that my old colleague, aside from serving on the Thiel crew, was also involved in Clearview AI’s work. Given what Thiel has people like @rivatez doing, it’s almost certain he now has it, too.

Incidentally, Palantir also worked with Cambridge Analytica to get Trump elected using Facebook data mining, while Thiel pursued other public and private means. In conclusion, don’t answer my questions as if I were one of your fucking co-workers, @DavidEnrich.
