Reading and watching Pandemic related books and content, to keep up with the times. Adding politely to this thread as I finish raving or ranting.
Vaayai Moodi Pesavum. Watched again, after a good while. This time I imbibed a lot of things- like virus, quarantine, vaccination, social distancing.
The last time I was busy sight-adichifying Dulq.
Digressing, but what a crush that was, is. Our conversations be like,
"Ennadhu neengalum R.A.Puram aa? Naanum R.A.Puram dhaan, https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😁" title="Grinning face with smiling eyes" aria-label="Emoji: Grinning face with smiling eyes">."
Also,
"Ennadhu, neenga oru Architect-a kalyanam pannindeengala? Waaaw, naane oru Architect dhaan." https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Face with tears of joy" aria-label="Emoji: Face with tears of joy">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙈" title="See-no-evil monkey" aria-label="Emoji: See-no-evil monkey">
Sigh, retrospectively, Dulq is like an optimistic kutti papa in this movie, before the rarefications of the Malayalam industry honed him into, say, a Charlie.
2 years after Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi, Balaji Mohan still had one foot in short film sensibilities and one in the mainstream. VMP is cacricaturesque in its story telling. Yet, 6 years later, to me, it retains an honest charm.
