Hey guys, I& #39;m going to step out from behind the curtain a bit here. I know you guys think it& #39;s cool to shit on moderators, but having been on that side of the fence for 6 years, it& #39;s not cool. There is so much behind the scenes work moderators do that you don& #39;t see.

One moderator may make a hasty decision, but if there is any room for disagreement you can be assured they are hashing it out behind the scenes. Penalty scales are changed as needed based on discussions that no one outside of the mod team even knows about.

Good moderators are always learning and growing with time. The best mod teams roll with the punches and are tirelessly working to keep the chat cleared for the streamer. Sometimes innocent people get punished. It& #39;s inevitable. It& #39;s a fact of life.

Please, please, PLEASE just message a moderator privately and politely discuss the issue. Don& #39;t turn yourself into a martyr in public. It never ends well and only adds more fuel to the fire.

To that note, from this point forward I will be pre-emptively banning anyone I see trying to turn themselves into a martyr because of a misunderstanding in my friend& #39;s streams. If you are going to treat my friends that way, I don& #39;t want you in my streams either.
