Comeback thread for new monbebe pt 2.

Each show has different criteria, but the same components. You'll see people RT these a lot as it comes closer. The main components are:

Physical Sales (always smallest %)
Streaming
Prevoting via apps
Live voting

The last 3 vary by show

Physical sales:

The preorder & 1st week are key. The official account will post to the store. From my experience with Follow it's the official store on gmarket. Other places are OK so long as they are Hanteo certified

Note you will most likely get slips u have to scan on an app

Streaming:

3 biggest ones are Melon (# 1), Genie (# 2) and youtube. Theres another called bugs but it seems to be minor.

Melon: hard for imbb, requires certified SK phone #. You can rent a verified acct from places for the month of CB. This is the most important streaming site

Genie: 2nd most used streaming platform and counts towards all shows.

This is much easier for Imbb. Anyone can create an account and theres tons of places that will install a pass (the pass requires a SK verified account). several fan projs exist for this as well.

Genie 2.0:
For comeback, it's important to stream & download the song as downloads count towards digital scores & trending BUT downloading req u to verify your account (there are 3rd party sites that do this)

For both, getting the title track & album to trend, earn badges is imp

YouTube:
2 key things: the official music video (MV) of the title track & CB stages.

The view count for both count as part of the overall score for CB shows. Getting the title track MV views UP that 1st week is imp
(Note last time they released 2 mv, we can show to both)

MX will film their stages and those will go up prior to the live show (I believe the week the album is released and they compete the following week-correct me if I'm wrong). The total streams of those stages per show are important & count towards their score. We aim for 1M+

Live voting

Each show (I believe) has a live vote during the show. This is not the biggest % but depending on the competition (and all those other factors) could make the difference

Prevoting:

Huge % of all shows I believe.

This is where the apps you see on twt come into play: idolchamp, starplay, mubeats, soribada, starpass. Each works for different shows and full disclosure I dont use soribada or know what starpass counts towards (its changed it seems)

Idolchamp: showchampion
Collect
Use hearts for voting in charts (note there is a timing part it's not a daily vote)

The are used during CB month, idols with highest # a donation to an animal shelter is made in their name

Also has various ad opportunities to win

Starplay: SBS MTV the Show
Collect for prevoting
Various competitions

Mubeats: show music core (new!)
Collect beats for prevoting
Various ad opportunities

The exception is mwave. Prevoting is done online or via ap, but nothing to collect. Theres a limit to # of votes by IP

I'll find guides for these, but the point is this:

Other than live voting prepping for comeback starts when the last comeback ends. Start collecting on the apps now. Find the streaming proj for genie/melon & get accounts. Theres things u can do that are free & only req time & $

(Reminder this is my 2nd comeback so I'm far from an expert but monbebe are super supportive. I hope this helps new monbebe).

What we struggle with is streaming. Our fanbase is mostly imbb and melon & genie are intimidating, but even our YT views drag so this is an area 2 improve. You'll see lots of projs 4 this
