Just got done watching Onward and it got me all emotional. Since I never met my father because he passed away months before I was born. But the main thing that got me was when Ian told his brother that he never had a dad but he had him, his brother to teach and watch over him.

I’ve never had a dad, I don’t even know if he knew I existed but I had my mom and two older brothers who were there for me and I learned from them. We’ve cried, laughed and shared so much with each other. I love my two bros.

I know this movie is about dads but I miss my mom very much and I see her through my brothers and even my niece reminds me of my mom. People live on through others because we learn and take in what they’ve taught us. Sorry for this thread just got emotional from this movie.
