A lot of “Pro-Black” movements have been co-opted by white liberals, and have had their missions shifted to more palatable views.
For instance, a lot of people get upset when I distinguish between the Black and LGBTQ+ agenda and interpret it as attack on those members of the Black community. It’s actually deeper than that.
Let’s take Black Lives Matter for example. It’s always highlighted how Black gay activists have led a lot of these movements. Not to take anything away from them, but largely in part because these are the orgs that white liberals choose to fund.

It’s interesting the organizations that white liberals choose to accept and shun, and what items on the Black agenda they choose to uplift.
We now see the conversations around reparations in the Democratic Party, but why now? The late Congressman John Conyers first presented the HR 40 Reparations Bill in 1989. Why did it take 30 years for the Democrats to finally recognize it? It’s another stunt for the Black vote?
