Last week, I did some power analysis on the "DreamPSU".

I saw some things that were not only kind of suspect, but a little startling.. I'm going to dig a little deeper, but I'm not so sure that I'd be recommending people to remove the professionally designed, stock unit for it.

1) Performance is heavily influenced by the DC source.
2) The DreamPSU has inadequate DC smoothing and the frequency content on the output rails can b fucking atrocious.
3) In-rush current spikes R even more prominent w/ a shit +12VDC source
4) It oscillates like motherfucker.

I definitely wouldn't be hot-plugging peripherals like the Dreamcast Fighter Stick with this thang.
