So many of my COVID-19 patients right now have chronic kidney disease. COVID-19 worsens this, causing acute-on-chronic kidney failure, and some will die from this. Did they die from COVID-19 or their pre-existing kidney disease?

Same for heart conditions.

People who don't know anything about medicine love to talk about medicine. But you can bet your ass @MattWalshBlog would shit his pants 5 seconds after stepping foot into my ICU.
Things that happened today:

We proned a patient. Their PICC line (IV access) fell out when proning. They were on multiple pressors to keep blood pressure up. I ran in there and placed a central line as fast as I could so their blood pressure wouldn't go so low that they die.
While I was doing that,
@MattWalshBlog was tweeting about how we are incorrectly counting COVID-19 deaths. Why is he doing that? Because for weeks he's been tweeting about how we are all over-reacting, and now, the numbers show that he's wrong. So he needs an excuse.
We are starting to get ICU survivors from COVID-19. They are few right now, but I hope when they all fully recover that they rip you pieces of shit to shreds.
