I recently saw this very serious question concerning recent data on the mortality rates of COVID - 19 in Chicago.
HOW ARE BLACKS ALL OF SUDDEN IN THE “INNER CITY” (not the Suburbs of Chicago)
In The Top lead of dying from this VIRUS?

One of the things that I think a lot of folks overlook is that Black people #ADOS in America have had a long and sordid history with the medical industry. It is not "ALL OF A SUDDEN". Black folks were either experimented on or they were denied care because of their race.

We also see there's plenty of inequities in the healthcare system to this very day. Black women are more likely to die during childbirth despite their education or socio-economic status. BP are more likely to have pre-existing conditions like hypertension, type 2 diabetes and CVD

Black People also still are less likely to be believed when they tell a provider they are in pain. Our group is less likely to have health insurance let alone a primary care physician.

Since we are less likely to have the fore mentioned, we are more likely to go to the ER when too sick. Our group also has less properly equipped health care facilities or hospitals to service our neighborhoods.

So TBH, it should not be a wonder why Black People, esp. #ADOS, are dying more of COVID - 19 than any other group. Let me repeat that. IT SHOULD NOT BE A WONDER THAT BLACK PEOPLE WHO ARE #ADOS ARE DYING MORE FROM COVID - 19 INFECTIONS THAN ANY OTHER GROUP!

We have always faced adverse health burdens, as well as lack of wealth, proper education, housing, safety and freedom. It was, and still is written, in the DNA of the United States.
