I think staying home all day amidst the dog hair is getting to certain members of my household, who shall remain unnamed but were spotted giving anxious consideration to a $1,000 vacuum cleaner on Amazon. I did not even know such a product existed.

I'm so skeptical of these robot vacuums, Roombas and such. Do people actually like & use them or are they just novelty gifts?
