I think that people should always make authentic art. There’s this misconception that to me that means “edgy and dark content only” but that’s not true at all. I draw so much fluff content and also have so much respect for artists that make wholesome content. I just think the

Personal art people make should come from an honest place. A lot of antis only make “wholesome” content in a way where they are very clearly censoring themselves to avoid being problematic and you can usually tell because the art feels lifeless and lacks a personal voice.

I don’t think one type of content is superior to the other as long as what you create is meaningful to you.

With my own work for example, I think there’s merrit in exploring everything so I simply don’t like limiting myself in what I depict. It’s baffling to me when people overlook my 90% fluff art to claim I only draw dark or edgy things. It’s apparent they aren’t actually looking
