Time to settle this once and for all why this country has gone downhill over the past 40 years.

It's all based on one thing:

More people voted Republican (or didn't vote at all) than voted Democratic.

The only time we've had a Democratic President and Democratic control of the House and Senate were in the 103th Congress (1993-1994) and 111th Congress (2009-2010).
